Key initiatives handled under his leadership include a Web-based portal that covers a gamut of 100+ services from 70 government departments ranging from revenue and agriculture to social justice and tribal welfare; eSampada that makes stamp registration process easy and accessible; a smart revenue court case monitoring system & a lands records management system; MPKrishi and eAnugya applications for the farming sector; and Uttara for citizen grievance and redressal.

1. Dr.Mahendra Kalyankar, IAS

Dr. Mahendra Kalyankar believes a digitally literate society is the need of the hour for this century to understand broader issues of society, economy, culture, government and human rights rights. Key initiatives managed under his leadership include a mobile app called Thane Sahaj to educate citizens of various services delivered by the state and central government; a common online workstation for tehsil officers to carry out their responsibilities efficiently; and Thane Pravah to bring accountability in the file journey monitoring system. The district is proud of its role in registering 1,35,000 citizens, especially from rural and tribal communities, under ‘Digilockers’.

Dasharathi Satapathy believes that implementation and success of e-Governance depends on digital literacy. Key initiatives managed under his leadership include eAbhijog to manage citizen grievance redressal; DMS for document management; BHULEKH for land records; NADRS for national animal disease reporting system; and Prerna for facilitating scholarships for students who’ve qualified their matric examinations. Subarnapur district has been successful in standardising its district portal, services delivery and paddy procurement.
